Pack Squad Crashes KJ’s Groove Party in Greensboro! 
The NC State women’s basketball team said “screw the grind” and hit pause on their brutal summer individual workouts to road-trip to Greensboro and hype up their own assistant coach, Kayla “KJ” Jones, as she suited up for the hometown Greensboro Groove.
Usually coaches are the ones yelling from the sideline… but this time the roles got completely flipped. The Pack crew rolled up in full force at Novant Health Fieldhouse to cheer on their girl, and KJ did NOT disappoint.
She dropped 12 points (5-of-8 shooting), snatched 6 rebounds, swiped a game-high 3 steals, and threw in a block for good measure while helping the Groove edge out the Charlotte Crown 80-75. Straight-up put on a show with her Wolfpack fam watching.
Talk about squad goals. The bond between this team and their coach is actually insane.
