NC State Seeks Fourth Straight Win vs. Ole Miss in Oxford Showdown
Excited to share this one, Wolfpack fans, our NC State women’s basketball team is heading to Oxford for the fourth edition of the SEC/ACC Challenge!
We’ll take on Ole Miss on Wednesday, December 2 at the SJB Pavilion. Full details on tip time, TV coverage, and tickets will drop later.
This will be the sixth meeting all-time between the two programs. NC State currently leads the series against Ole Miss 4-1 and has taken the last three matchups. The most recent battle came in the 2024 SEC/ACC Challenge, when the Wolfpack knocked off the then-No. 18/18 Rebels 68-61 right here in Raleigh at Reynolds Coliseum.
Overall, the Pack sits at 2-1 in Challenge play:
70-62 home win over Vanderbilt (2023)
68-61 home win over Ole Miss (2024)
103-98 OT road loss at No. 9 Oklahoma (last season)
Quick note on the format: 2024 was the first year they started alternating true home and away games to keep things balanced over a four-year cycle (each school gets two home and two away). The event name also rotates each year, so for 2026, it’s officially back to the SEC/ACC Challenge.
