Annsley “A.J.” Trivette has just completed a historic senior season at Abingdon High School, leading the Falcons to their first-ever girls’ basketball state championship in March 2026.
Recent Achievements (March 2026)
- State Champion: Trivette dominated the Class 3 state title game against Skyline with 25 points and 14–15 rebounds, securing a 58–38 victory.
- Class 3 Player of the Year: Following the championship, she was named the VHSL Class 3 Player of the Year for the second consecutive year.
- Career Milestones: She finished her high school career with record-breaking stats:
- Points: 2,411
- Rebounds: 1,074
- Senior Season Averages: 23.8 PPG, 9.9 RPG, 3.1 APG, 2.5 SPG, and 2.4 BPG.
College Commitment
Trivette is a North Carolina State signee and will join the Wolfpack women’s basketball team for the 2026–27 season. A 6’3″ power forward, she is ranked as one of the top 100 players nationally in her class and chose NC State over offers from schools like Virginia, Wake Forest, and Auburn.

- Volleyball: Helped Abingdon win its first state volleyball title since 1983 in the fall of 2025.
- Track & Field: Won an individual state title in the shot put and holds the school record for discus (131’9″).
