NC State put on a clinic in Pittsburgh, rolling to a dominant 50-point victory and finishing the regular season on a high note. The Wolfpack led wire-to-wire, never trailing after the opening minutes, and turned the game into a rout early. They outscored Pitt 25-10 in the first quarter and 25-8 in the second, taking a commanding 50-18 lead into halftime. The blowout continued in the third (26-10), and even though Pitt scored 15 in the fourth, it was far too late. NC State’s largest lead reached 52 points late in the game, capped by a massive 20-0 run.
The Wolfpack shot a scorching 50.0% from the field (35-70), drained 10-of-19 threes (52.6%), and went 13-of-14 at the line (92.9%). Defensively, they were relentless—recording 17 steals (led by Qadence Samuels with 5 and Zoe Brooks with 4), forcing 21 Pittsburgh turnovers, and holding the Panthers to just 28.3% shooting overall (17-60) and 21.4% from deep.

- Khamil Pierre (F): 16 points, game-high 12 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists

- Devyn Quigley: 9 points (3-3 from three off the bench)
The bench contributed 26 points, and NC State dominated almost every category: rebounds (46-32), assists (21-10), points off turnovers (24-4), fast-break points (22-5), and paint points (44-18).Pittsburgh was led by Fatima Diakhate (6 points, 13 rebounds) and Theresa Hagans & Audrey Biggs (9 points each), but the Panthers simply had no answer for NC State’s pace and pressure.
This win gives NC State a double bye in the ACC Tournament. The Wolfpack close the regular season with a statement performance and head into the postseason with all the momentum—and the best possible seeding advantage.
