As of early February 2026, Kamora “KP” Pruitt is putting the finishing touches on a strong senior year at Legion Preparatory Academy in Dallas, Texas — exactly the kind of dominant, versatile performance that made her a consensus top-40 recruit and a perfect fit for NC State.
The 6-2 forward, who signed her National Letter of Intent with the Wolfpack on November 14, 2025, has been a go-to scorer and rebounder all season. She continues to average in the neighborhood of 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists per game while impacting games at all three levels.
Recent highlights include:
- 21 points in a win over Westtown (Dec. 20)
- 20 points and 3 rebounds vs. Dream City Christian National
- A stat-stuffing 20-9-5-3 line (57% FG) earlier in the season
- Consistent double-digit scoring in tough matchups, including a clutch performance in Legion’s narrow 61-60 win over Kinkaid in January
Legion Prep currently sits at 11-2 overall and has been ranked as high as No. 1 in Texas this winter. Pruitt’s length, deep range, athleticism, and rebounding have been key factors in keeping the Bulldogs among the state’s elite programs even after a tough recent loss to Kingdom Collegiate (44-53 on Feb. 3).
Coach Wes Moore has repeatedly called her a “matchup nightmare” for the exact reasons she’s showing right now:
“Her combination of athleticism, length and versatile skillset makes her a matchup nightmare. Starting with her deep range from 3, an ability to create off the bounce and her being a force on the boards — we expect KP to make an immediate impact.”
She’ll join fellow early signee Annsley Trivette in Raleigh this summer and immediately give the Wolfpack frontcourt another layer of size, skill, and two-way upside.
KP is finishing her high school career exactly as advertised — owning the paint, stretching the floor, and leading her team. NC State fans are going to love what arrives on campus next year.
