NC State junior guard Zoe Brooks has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – NC State junior guard Zoe Brooks has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Syracuse center Uche Izoje earned ACC Rookie of the Week honors for games played January 19-25.
ACC women’s basketball weekly honors are nominated by member schools and determined by a vote of the Blue Ribbon Panel.
PLAYER – Zoe Brooks, Jr., G, NC State (Plainfield, New Jersey)
- Scored a career-high 37 points in Saturday’s 78-76 overtime victory at Virginia.
- Finished 8-for-15 (53.3 percent) from the field and 19-for-20 (95.0 percent) from the free throw line, setting the program record for the most free throws made and free throws attempted in a game.
- The 37-point performance was the ninth-highest scoring effort in Wolfpack history and the most since 1998.
- Scored 23 points in the second half
