Hey Wolfpack fans, heads up! Our women’s hoops squad was all set for a Sunday showdown at Virginia, but Mother Nature’s throwing a curveball with a nasty winter storm rolling in. The ACC just bumped the game up to Saturday to keep everyone safe – no slipping on ice for our girls or the fans!
Originally, we were tipping off on Sunday, January 25 at noon ET on ACCN. Now? It’s go time on Saturday, January 24 at 2:30 p.m. ET, streaming on ACCNX. Smart move, right? The forecast is calling for snow, ice, and some sketchy roads starting late Saturday and cranking up into Sunday, so better safe than sorry.
This isn’t just us – the league shifted a bunch of games, like the Duke women’s tilt at Pitt and some men’s matchups too.
We’re sitting at 13-6 overall and 3-3 in the ACC, looking to bounce back and snag a big road W against a solid Virginia team that’s 13-5 and 5-2 in conference play. Coach Moore and the Pack are fired up – this could be our chance to build some momentum before the storm hits.
