Lorena Awou Transfers to Baylor After NC State Suspension

After being suspended indefinitely from the NC State women’s basketball team and being officially removed from the roster today, Mitch Northam is reporting that Lorena Awou will transfer to Baylor. NC State has won 6 games in a row since the suspension.

Per sources, former NC State forward Lorena Awou will transfer to Baylor and play next season.

Like Khamil Pierre, she’s transferring without the use of the portal. Baylor’s spring semester begins on Jan. 20, so expect an announcement around then.
