Saturday, 3 p.m., Reynolds Coliseum. Free. No stream.

1. Whether the first-quarter press lasts. Against High Point it was a 20-0 run and six steals already in by the end of the first. High Point won the second quarter. UNCW is the next chance to see if that version shows up for more than 10 minutes once someone adjusts.

2. The three-point line. NC State went 8-of-29, 27.6 percent, last time. That number does not travel. UNCW is not an NCAA tournament team, but it is the last public look before the real schedule. Samuels was the one who looked like the shot was hers after the half. The rest of the perimeter still needs a better night.

3. Who starts, and whether Pruitt checks in. Moore said he would mix the lineup after the closed scrimmage. No availability report. The ball runs through Zoe Brooks either way. Kamora Pruitt still has not been seen. Nine minutes of Annsley Trivette against High Point is the main freshman look so far.
