The 2026 women’s basketball transfer portal basically slammed shut after that April 20 deadline, and most of the splashy headline names have already packed up and committed elsewhere. But don’t sleep on it. There are still a few legit gems floating out there that could be perfect sneaky fits for NC State’s roster (and they’re not on your current watch list yet). Holdovers like Delaney Snyder (6’5″ Cincinnati depth big), and Jessica Peterson (6’2″ Miami vet) are still very much available.
The fresh additions that have me excited for Pack potenial? Achol Magot (6’7″ Arizona junior, think rim-protecting skyscraper with SEC experience) and Emily Hunter (6’7″ TCU freshman, pure length project who’s got years to grow into a frontcourt monster).
