What to Expect
NC State has been the better rebounding team all year (+8.6 margin) and should dominate the glass again against an FSU frontcourt that’s been outrebounded by 5+ per game in conference play. The Seminoles shoot just 35.2% from the field in ACC games — the Pack’s length and physicality should make that even worse.
Florida State’s only real hope is to force turnovers (they lead the ACC in steals per game in some stretches) and live by the 3 (they’re 7.2 made per conference game). But NC State has been excellent at protecting the ball lately (only 11.9 TO/game) and has been stingy on the perimeter.
PredictionNC State 82, Florida State 68
The Wolfpack are 13.5-point favorites at home for a reason. This is the kind of game they need to get right after the emotional UNC loss — expect a bounce-back win and a return to the win column before the tough stretch resumes. Go Pack!
